D.G.M – Geology (Asansol)

• Ensuring and setting compliance of required geosciences standards.
• Oversees the development of policies and practices related to exploration geology.
• Monitors costs related to exploration geology and implements programs to maximize operational efficiencies.
• Prepares budget requests and negotiating contracts for exploration and resource definition.
• Examine, evaluate results of geophysical prospecting, prepares surface and subsurface maps and diagrams depicting straight graphic arrangements, compositions of earth and probable deposits of CBM gas.
• Manages and undertakes field examinations of submittals and active exploration projects.
• Provides technical advice on exploration activities in the field as well as in the office and carries out technical functions (mapping, drill hole, logging, etc.) when appropriate.
• Provides geological input and consults with outside consultants regarding exploration issues.
• Provide guidance on geological and resource modeling, and resource estimation.
• To analyze information and prepare technical documents to support decision making.
• Prepares business cases regarding projects and initiatives and presents recommendations and status updates to key stakeholders.
• Prepares technical reports and documentation to ensure compliance with industry and operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with land and lease issues.
• Maintain relations with all Governmental/ Municipal and Non- Governmental organizations, Agencies, concerned/ connected with the project.

Educational Qualification:

M. Sc - Geology / M. Tech – Geology & Mining

Experience:
Experience with 14- 16 yrs.
